The ambiance isn't what you're paying for here; the food is absolutely delectable. The lamb chops were juicy, flavorful, tender - the side salad components were all fresh. The chicken was not too dry, while having they charred taste as well. I'm usually a harsh critic when it comes to red meat, but these guys do it well. I do find the food to be better quality when ordering dine in vs takeout here, not sure if that's a one-off scenario.

AMAZING !!! Costumer service is AWSOME and the food is bomb like honestly. The food gives off most of the vibe in the restaurant and you get a cozy, at home feel. Definitely a pick me up !

We love ashburn kabob. We get takeout from there all the time! And they make it so quickly! We love their quaubili palaw, beef kobidah, chicken kebab, and their hummus! The best sides are definitely the chickpeas and the spinach, and the bread ALWAYS tastes fresh. It's a small hole in the wall but super delicious.

Fantastic Afghan food! The Mantu was my favorite! We also had the Kabuli pulao with lamb shank which was absolutely perfect. And we had the beef chapli...when I tell you everything was delicious, it was!!!

I've been ordering take out quite a few times from this place. This place is consistent with their food. We order the manto, ashak, quabli palow, bolani and two different kabobs. They don't disappoint. My only negative comment if you can take is as a negative comment is that they only have one type of bolani and not more than one. They definitely have gone above and beyond for their service. Granted it was an accident that they had forgotten to include my palow, but they did delivery it after they closed (it is Christmas Eve and they were closing at 7pm). The nice gentleman apologized and asked how to make it right and he did. I've very appreciative of that and will continue to order from here.

The gyro is fantastic. Been eating here for years bc the price is fair and the quality is good. I will be back again for this and I recommend other items on the menu. Everything I've had is good. Nice staff!

Man, I miss Bay Area afghan food and my mom's cooking, so seeing this place as a delivery option was exciting. Nostalgia might be tinging my review a bit admittedly. The kabobs were good, especially the koobedeh. The rice was all flavorful and cooked perfectly. The quabili was good and the lamb shank cooked perfectly but weird that they don't put raisins in this dish. The aushak was not good and the side salads were sad. Why wouldn't you serve afghan salata? Overall, the place hit the spot and I would order again.
